Certified fire rated glazed screens for Northwich
We fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights in Northwich and the rest of Cheshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Whether your building is in central Northwich or on its edges towards Winsford, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Northwich
In Northwich, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in Cheshire
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Northwich, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Where fire rated glazed screens are used in Northwich
