Which rules apply in Crawley?

Because Crawley is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

What do fire exit doors cost in Crawley?

Guide prices for fire exit doors in Crawley run from about £1,200 to £2,200 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.

We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
