Getting fire door installation fitted in Nelson
Need fire door installation in Nelson? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Lancashire, starting with a free measure survey in and around BB9. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
We cover BB9 and the surrounding area, including Colne. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in Nelson
In Nelson, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Fire door installation prices in Nelson
Guide prices for fire door installation in Nelson run from about £750 to £1,150 per FD30 doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
