Fire Door Supply & Fit for Holloway buildings
We fit fire door supply and fit in Holloway and the rest of Greater London. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Holloway is about 3 miles from London. Wherever your building is in N7, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Holloway?
Fire doors in Holloway sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of fire door installation in Greater London
Our guide price for fire door installation in Holloway is £750 to £1,150 per FD30 doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Buildings that need fire door installation
Typical uses for fire door installation in Holloway include single doors to full-building programmes and contractors and fit-out firms.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.

Common questions in Greater London
Can you work around tenants or staff in Holloway?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Holloway?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Holloway visits with other work in Greater London. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Holloway?
Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Do you supply fire doors without fitting?
We focus on supply and fit, because certification usually depends on correct installation. Talk to us if you have a contractor-led project.
