Our Heston supply and fit service
Getting fire door installation right in Heston means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Where possible we combine Heston surveys with other visits in Greater London, such as Hounslow and Isleworth, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in Heston
In Heston, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do fire door installation cost in Heston?
Our guide for fire door installation is £750–£1,150 per FD30 doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Heston are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
