Our Redditch supply and fit service
We fit FD60 doorsets for compartment walls, cores and plant rooms in Redditch and the rest of Worcestershire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Redditch is about 14 miles from Worcester; we cover both, along with Bromsgrove, Shirley and Droitwich.
Which rules apply in Redditch?
Because Redditch is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do FD60 fire doors cost in Redditch?
Guide prices for FD60 fire doors in Redditch run from about £1,050 to £1,650 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
