FD30S Smoke Control Doorsets for Solihull buildings
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Solihull, we provide FD30S smoke control doorsets for flats, stairs and corridors with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Solihull is about 7 miles from Birmingham. Wherever your building is in B91, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Solihull?
In Solihull, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of FD30S fire doors in West Midlands
Budget around £800 to £1,250 per single doorset for FD30S fire doors supplied and fitted in Solihull, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
