Questions about FD30S fire doors in Ashton-in-Makerfield
Do you cover Ashton-in-Makerfield?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit FD30S fire doors throughout Ashton-in-Makerfield and the rest of Greater Manchester, including WN4 and nearby Golborne.
What does a Ashton-in-Makerfield quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Ashton-in-Makerfield?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Do smoke seals stop the door closing?
They shouldn't. A properly hung FD30S door closes and latches under its closer. If seals are crushed or the door binds, it needs adjusting — a door that fails to latch is a failed fire door.
