FD30 fire doors in Wednesbury: questions

Can you work around tenants or staff in Wednesbury?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Wednesbury?

Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.

Can you fit just one door in Wednesbury?

Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in West Midlands.

Can I fit an FD30 door into my existing frame?

Only if the manufacturer's evidence allows that frame, which is rare. We normally supply the complete doorset with a new frame so the certification carries through to the finished job.
