Wisbech is about 18 miles from Peterborough. Wherever your building is in PE13, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.

Fire door rules in Wisbech

In Wisbech, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Cost of FD30 fire doors in Cambridgeshire

Expect roughly £750–£1,150 per single doorset for FD30 fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Wisbech quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.

FD30 fire doors in Wisbech: questions

Is the survey in Wisbech free?

Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.

Do you remove the old doors?

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Wisbech.

Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Wisbech?

Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.

Is FD30 the same as E30?

Broadly, yes. FD30 comes from the British test (BS 476-22); E30 is the European classification from BS EN 1634-1. Both mean 30 minutes of integrity. EI30 adds insulation, which some locations and glazed doors need.
