Certified double fire doors for Heavitree
Looking for double fire doors in Heavitree? Our supply and fit service covers EX1 and the surrounding area, including Exeter and Exmouth. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Heavitree surveys with other visits in Devon, such as Exeter and Exmouth, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for double fire doors in Devon
Because Heavitree is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Double fire doors prices in Heavitree
Expect roughly £1,600–£3,400 per pair for double fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Heavitree quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
