Our Exeter supply and fit service
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits fire doors for homes in Exeter, Devon. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Exeter is about 37 miles from Plymouth; we cover both, along with Heavitree, Exmouth and Tiverton.
Which rules apply in Exeter?
Because Exeter is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do fire doors for homes cost in Exeter?
Guide prices for fire doors for homes in Exeter run from about £650 to £1,000 per door, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
