Getting composite fire doors fitted in Bradford
Need composite fire doors in Bradford? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across West Yorkshire, starting with a free measure survey in and around BD1. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Where possible we combine Bradford surveys with other visits in West Yorkshire, such as Shipley and Pudsey, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Bradford
Because Bradford is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Bradford
Budget around £1,200 to £2,200 per door for composite fire doors supplied and fitted in Bradford, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Your questions answered
Is the survey in Bradford free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Which rules do composite fire doors in Bradford need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
