Certified composite fire doors for Batley
We fit certified composite fire doors in Batley and the rest of West Yorkshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Batley is about 7 miles from Leeds. Wherever your building is in WF13, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Regulations for composite fire doors in West Yorkshire
In Batley, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of composite fire doors in West Yorkshire
Guide prices for composite fire doors in Batley run from about £1,200 to £2,200 per door, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
