Getting composite fire doors fitted in Taunton
If your fire risk assessment in Taunton has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit certified composite fire doors to match its recommendations. Surveys in TA1 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.
Where possible we combine Taunton surveys with other visits in Somerset, such as Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in Taunton
Because Taunton is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do composite fire doors cost in Taunton?
Expect roughly £1,200–£2,200 per door for composite fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Taunton quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
