Composite fire doors in Lancaster: how we work
If your fire risk assessment in Lancaster has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit certified composite fire doors to match its recommendations. Surveys in LA1 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.
Where possible we combine Lancaster surveys with other visits in Lancashire, such as Morecambe and Fleetwood, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Lancaster?
Because Lancaster is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of composite fire doors in Lancashire
Expect roughly £1,200–£2,200 per door for composite fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Lancaster quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
