Composite fire doors in Faversham: how we work
Getting composite fire doors right in Faversham means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Where possible we combine Faversham surveys with other visits in Kent, such as Whitstable and Sittingbourne, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Faversham?
In Faversham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
