Getting composite fire doors fitted in Basingstoke
We fit certified composite fire doors in Basingstoke and the rest of Hampshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Basingstoke is about 29 miles from Southampton; we cover both, along with Fleet, Thatcham and Yateley.
Fire door rules in Basingstoke
Because Basingstoke is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Composite fire doors prices in Basingstoke
Our guide price for composite fire doors in Basingstoke is £1,200 to £2,200 per door including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
