Our Felixstowe supply and fit service
We fit acoustic fire doorsets in Felixstowe and the rest of Suffolk. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Felixstowe is about 11 miles from Ipswich. Wherever your building is in IP11, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Regulations for acoustic fire doors in Suffolk
Fire doors in Felixstowe sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
