Acoustic fire doors in Bordon

Acoustic Fire Doors for Bordon buildings

We fit acoustic fire doorsets in Bordon and the rest of Hampshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.

Bordon is about 28 miles from Southampton. Wherever your building is in GU35, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.

Which rules apply in Bordon?

Because Bordon is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

What do acoustic fire doors cost in Bordon?

Our guide for acoustic fire doors is £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Bordon are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.

The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
