Acoustic fire doors in Westhoughton: questions

Can you work around tenants or staff in Westhoughton?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Which rules do acoustic fire doors in Westhoughton need to meet?

They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.

Do you cover Westhoughton?

Yes. We survey, supply and fit acoustic fire doors throughout Westhoughton and the rest of Greater Manchester, including BL5 and nearby Atherton.

Do acoustic seals affect the fire rating?

They can if untested. We only use seals covered by the doorset's fire evidence.
