Certified acoustic fire doors for Stratford
We fit acoustic fire doorsets in Stratford and the rest of Greater London. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Where possible we combine Stratford surveys with other visits in Greater London, such as Bow and Canning Town, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Stratford
Because Stratford is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of acoustic fire doors in Greater London
Budget around £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset for acoustic fire doors supplied and fitted in Stratford, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
Typical uses in Stratford
In Stratford, acoustic fire doors are typically needed in medical consulting rooms and studios and music rooms.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.

Common questions in Greater London
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Stratford.
Is the survey in Stratford free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Stratford?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Do acoustic seals affect the fire rating?
They can if untested. We only use seals covered by the doorset's fire evidence.
