Acoustic fire doors in Amersham: how we work
Getting acoustic fire doors right in Amersham means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Amersham is about 27 miles from Milton Keynes; we cover both, along with Chesham, Chalfont St Peter and Gerrards Cross.
Which rules apply in Amersham?
In Amersham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
